INSTALLATION - Split Systems
Our split systems are supplied with installation instructions and a comprehensive installation kit, which in most cases provides all that is required. It is very important that a competent person carries out installation. Any ac system requiring copper piping and flange connections must be installed correctly otherwise there is a risk of serious injury and the illegal release of refrigerant gasses to atmosphere. If you have any concerns please take our advice before starting or have us arrange installation for you.

Our installation service includes: -
· Mounting of the indoor unit on the inside of an external wall.
· Mounting of the external unit using brackets included directly on to the outside of the building to a maximum height of 1m.
· Installation of appropriate external fixings for copper pipe, electrical cabling and gravity drains
· Connecting the indoor and outdoor units together both pipe work and electrical cabling.
· Installing of gravity drain to both indoor and outdoor units for removal of condensate.
· Commissioning of system including connection to a temporary electrical supply and provide demonstration and training on use of system. Due to regulations governing new electrical installations you may require the services of a Part P qualified electrician to make the final permanent connection of the unit.
Please note that if planning permission is required in your area of the UK it is your responsibility to gain this permission in advance of the installation.
